| It was about 1997, at around 130am. I was at Forthill Park in Lowell Massachusetts Right next to my house. I had met up with my friend Dave who had just left work walking home on that late summer evening. We usualy just talked at the park about life beyond earth and all things paranormal. I was about 17 when I was sitting in the middle of the park as you can see its pretty open and I am able to see any vehicles that may approach with happened once or twice an hour. I was sittting facing towards the main road and Dave was standing facing the opposite direction watching out for the time schedualed patrol of the Lowell Police Crusier #3. These are the memories i have of that early morning. I was sitting as mentioned above when all of a sudden the whole park filled with light, a bright flash that happened about for a half second. It seemed as if a camera went off but the light was thick and had encompassed itself around everything I saw inbetween the trees, and the barrel behind it in the distance. Within that second i can remember vaguely that it came from above because it cast no shadow or sound but was physical in state. In the moments following the incident I found myself day dreaming facing the road as Remembered doing previously as if i was oblivious to everything. I could feel however that my mind was trying to block out what I saw untill my friend Dave said "DID YOU SEE THAT ? " it was then and only then that I i came to my senses and tried to collect any memory fo teh moments that had just passed. to this day i cannot remember the moments before or fight after the flash. I just know that it had happened. i tried to look for answers and looked into Heat heatlightning but the sky was clear as day and it was nice and cool. It was witnessed by both me and Dave who both clearly define it as a flash. His POV said he saw the flash come from his direction from the sky and the idea of it being heatlightning cant attribute to that fact that it wasnt a reflection of light but a physical phenonema of light that surrounded everything i saw without casting a shadow. One more fact I remember is however, is when i was comming to my senses i noticed that everything had gone silent for the ambient noises of the park and the city were comming back.as if my ears were blocked.
